The ‘Master’ plan of the school grounds was prepared in 2013 to provide direction to the Board for staged projects. The central part includes new security fencing, timber decking, accessible ramps and steps planting, seating and large timber containers for trees. The building and roofing have been painted and colour added to create a sense of vibrancy.
An historic cemetery with tombstones removed many years ago was referenced with low hedging used to define spaces for junior play. A large new vegetable garden area has been created linking to a play space with bespoke huts and other equipment around a large Oak tree.
